alive
Awake like the first day
Smile breathe and learn to see
Stretch into the morning
And day yet to be
Realize you are blessed
Another warm sunrise
Hoping to reach the night
With same sunrise eyes
Let petty thoughts go now
Different is no crime
Not my store, bank or road
Where angry minds shine
Stop pointing at others
How they move through the day
The strange cars on the road
Or how they dress or pray
Appreciate differences
New day and a new toy
Embrace the variety
And scatter your joy
